Travelling by train:

travel by train to Bruges from any of the 3 Brussels stations (North, Central and Midi/South):  take the IC (Inter City) train with destination Oostende or Knokke/Blankenberge. There is a train every 30 minutes and it takes approximately 1 hour to get to Bruges.  Trains - http://www.belgianrail.be/en/Default.aspx

Taxis and buses are available at the train station.
Bus - https://www.delijn.be/en/  nearest bus stops: 'Eekhoutpoort' (1 min) , 'Wollestraat' and 'Markt' (5 min).
Taxi - https://www.brugge.be/taxi It takes about 8 min. from the station to the conference venue
From the station it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the conference venue at the College of Europe building, Dijver 9. From the main square ('markt') it is about 5 minutes.

If you come by car, take exit 9-Oostkamp and follow 8 km to the centre of Bruges, where you can enter the centre of town via Katelijnepoort. Continue via Katelijnestraat and turn right at the Church of our Lady and drive via Dijver (passing the conference venue on your right side) straight on to Braambergstraat. Take the fourth street to the right (follow sign Astridpark) into 'Frèren Fonteinstraat' and then at the park go right and you will see the entrance to the underground parking site Pandreitje (click for street view), which is the nearest to the venue. Walking from parking site to conference venue.
In case 'Pandreitje' is full, there is another car park: continue straight on 'Predikherenstraat' (so don't turn right into Frèren Fonteinstraat), cross the 'canal' and turn immediately right (alongside the canal) into Predikerenrei (Click for street view). This is Centrum Parking Langestraat.

Please do not take motorway exit 10 (Bruges-Sint-Michiels), as major road works start on 1 March and access to the centre via the tunnel under the station (Boeveriepoort) or Smedenpoort will not be possible.
Please note that there is no parking space available at the conference venue.
